Anne has been an engineer, senior engineering leader, startup founder, speaker, writer and community organiser in tech for 30 years. She has worked a a wide range of sectors from mission critical software to ecommerce to psychology and training.

Her book, O'Reilly's Building Green Software, came out in 2024. The Cloud Native Attitude, which points out that moving to the cloud alone is not enough for your business, came out in 2025.

Jennifer Riggins is a culture side of tech storyteller, journalist, writer, and event and podcast host, helping to share the stories where culture and technology collide and to translate the impact of the tech we are building. She has been a working writer since 2003, and is currently based in London.
