TechSwitch

It was such a well run event! Much bigger than last year's (2x?) but kept the friendly and cooperative tone. Very on brand for Team Topologies!

JUSTIFICTION KIT

Every year we hear the same thing after the conference: "I wanted to come but never got round to asking." So this year we've done the asking for you.

Below is a note to your manager. Change the bits in brackets, hit send, and let us know how you get on!

**Subject:** Fast Flow Conf, 13 October, London

Hi [name],

I'd like to go to Fast Flow Conf on Tuesday 13 October at CodeNode in London. It's a one-day, practitioner-run conference about how organisations and teams are organised, and this year it's mostly about what's actually happening when teams put AI and AI agents to work. People from Microsoft, Meta, Overmind, Redgate and The Pensions Regulator are talking through what they did, what improved, and what went wrong.

It's directly relevant to [our current AI initiative]. I'll write up the useful bits for the team when I'm back, and every talk is recorded and published free, so anyone else can watch the sessions too.

You can find the agenda here: https://www.fastflowconf.com/agenda and talks from last year here: https://www.fastflowconf.com/2026-recordings

Tickets are £159 including VAT, plus [travel]. It's one day in London, so no hotel.

OK to book?

Thanks,

[your name]

THREE THINGS YOUR MANAGER WILL PROBABLY ASK

01

Is it a vendor thing?

No. It's run by volunteers, and every speaker is describing their own work.

02

Why this one?

Because it's about AI and AI agents in practice. Overmind let agents turn specs into working code and doubled what they ship each sprint. Microsoft will show how engineering teams are being reshaped around agents. Meta kept humans in the loop on a config system that AI now runs. Redgate, The Pensions Regulator and others will share what they'd do differently. Real teams, real numbers, and honesty about what went wrong.

03

What do we get back?

Your write-up, the recordings, and a day next to people dealing with exactly what you're dealing with.

YOUR ORGANISERS

The FastFlowConf UK 25 organising team is as wonderful as they are experienced in organising community events. And don't forget, they do it for the love of raising people up and sharing ideas to make our day-to-day lives more humane, impactful, and successful.
